After installing hardware how do I get rid of the Window's 'New Hardware Wizard'?

Depends on the hardware As a general tip, I would try to remove the hardware and install it again. This worked for me with a cable modem (using the network adapter) once, and might be good for other hardware. If you specify what is the exact hardware and driver that shows up again, I might be able to help it better (we can use the comments to continue this)..

1 kermit11, regarding your answer "Depends on the hardware": The hardware is Saitek's X52 Flight System, the operating system is Windows XP. When the New Hardware Wizard shows up it does not indicate anything in specific about drivers or anything. Please see if you know about my question on askville called "What did I do to Internet Explorer?" .

2 Try this: Go to the device manager (right click 'my computer' -> properties -> hardware ->device manager) and look under "sound, video and game controllers" if your flight stick is listed. If it is, double click it and check if it says that the device is working properly or not. If it is not, re-install it.

If it is, just to make sure, disable it (there should be a drop-down option saying "do not use this device (disable)") and see if the wizard pops up again when you reboot.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
