You probably hear people saying "keep your eye on the ball" and that's literally what you need to do. Also, swing straight across and down, not up. If you swing upwards, that's how you get a pop fly.
The best advice I can give you is to go to a batting cage from time to time & practice hitting. They all have a slow pitch machine or the attendant at the batting cage can adjust a pitching machine for slow pitch. Practice makes perfect.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
