Are Windows updates necessary?

The answer really depends on how well you want your Windows to run and how well you want it to be protected. The windows updates have 3 main functions: (1) to repair software bugs. These are glitches in the software that cause it to not run well.

An example would be: Windows freezes. (2) to fix security breaks in the software. These are a type of software glitch that are somewhat more dangerous because these are glitches that hackers take advantage of (3) add or expand new functionality.

Sometimes Microsoft releases new features via their windows updates. If you choose not to do the updates, then you're going to get issues with stability and open yourself up to hackers. Eventually you will start to see the affects of what happens when you ignore updates.

Windows will start freezing, you'll get error messages about something has stopped working, your internet experience will not be that great if you use IE because IE is already up to version 11 and Win 7 comes with version 8 unless you happen to have one of the more recent versions of Win 7 that came with version 10. Also, you may run into problems adding new software programs (because it doesn't recognize the latest version of Win 7...the latest version means the version that's updated). So if you start to see things like this happening, you're going to have to run your updates if you want it to stop.

The amount of space the updates takes is nominal. Updates replace the files they are updating. So while the update may be slightly larger it's insignificant to the whole picture.

Most Hard Drives these days are huge anyway. But if you have some problem with space, you need to look into getting an external hard drive to store your large-file-sizes (videos, music, pictures, etc).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
