ASKVILLE QUESTION regarding Clearing the Questions You've Asked from Your Profile?

1 Totally agree! We should be able to delete ones from let's say a month or so ago...

2 I don't think most people realize this but once it gets out, people are going to have MAJOR problems. Can you imagine the bosses or kids of some of the people here who are asking questions about suicide or their sex life? What about the questions people ask ABOUT their bosses or loved ones.

I asked a question about my boss. I DON'T want him to see it. We have to be able to delete our questions from ANY time period, otherwise the type of questions people will ask will be different and, probably boring. In the meantime, the questions we've already asked are open to ALL!

All someone has to do is know your avatar and/or user name.

3 I've never told anyone I know my name or avatar, but I'm sure if the people who knew me read my stuff, they would have a pretty good idea it was me! I really don't ask questions that I hope no one I know sees for this reason. You're right, I guess, about deleting them at anytime.

I was thinking it would give others a chance to see them for at least a month, possibly helping someone else. But then I got thinking - it is YOUR question, so why can't YOU be able to delete it once you get YOUR answers? You'd have to totally be anonymous - like no profile info at all - and I think that makes it very boring, since most of the reason I love coming here is getting to know the peeps... Maybe they will see this & chat over Monday morning coffee...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
