Can an employer I've been with for 2 years now (December) demand my ss# & want to 1099 me for the entire year?

Yes when I called them today the assistant to the treasurer said that they had made an error in not getting my info last year and until now hadn't thought it would be an issue. So I don't know if he just forgot this whole time or what. Do you know if they can now tax me for the entire year?

I guess what I mean is, I'm going to give them my ss number tomorrow- so in January when they mail my 1099 should I expect it to have Jan. -May '10 and Aug. -Dec. '10 wages or since they are just now getting the form filled out and school is basically done for the year will they just start keeping track in 2011?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
