Definitely Maybe TO some degree it depends on your cable company. Here's why: Cable TV delivers two types of signals. THe 'old' type is analog cable.
This generally covers channels 1-95 or so. On old TVs, that's what "cable ready" meant -- you could get and decode an analog signal with your 'cable ready' TV. Then came Digital cable - this is what most people have these days.
Because digital cable takes about 1/5 the bandwidth of analog cable (i.e. You can fit five channels where one signal used to be) cable companies can send more channels down the same size wire. The problem (challenge) is that you need a digital cable box - from the cable company - to decode the digital signal.
Digital cable has some other advantages besides more channels -- you can have two way (i.e. On Demand) cable, as well as the ability to buy pay-per-view programs. Analog cable is one way only, digital cable is both ways.
Besides, it gives them something else to charge for, even though it is just a rather dumb circuit inside the cable box. Because analog (old) cable is basically old technology and somewhat of a throw-away item, some cable companies don't even bother to turn it off. So there's a good possibility that the cable company is pushing an analog signal through and that you'll be able to pick it up.
BUT --- Your TV must be cable ready. Otherwise you won't be able to tune the channels, which would be bad. Having one of the digital boxes that's being sold in anticipation of february 17 is *not* going to help you -- those don't have tuners in them.
Only digital-to-analog processors. So you need to know more about your equipment to be positive.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
