Yes, if your engine mounts are weak or broken, the engine can shift and that will mess up the alignment between the switch and the shift lever.
Thanks. This all started when I performed this "start up" procedure after running low on fuel and parked on a hill. The same day, I go in and no crankage.
I kinda assumed it was the starter do I replaced it. After replacing, still no start. I tested the elec connections on starter and the starter terminal wire has no power going to it.So it has to be between the ignition and starter.
The fuses look good. I have no clue! Thanks for your help.

Shut of the vehicle and pull the parking brake. Make sure the vehicle is out of gear.
Push the seat back as far as it will go do give yourself as much work area as possible. Step2Check the fuse for the safety switch. If the fuse is bad, you can replace the fuse and be finished with your work.
If not, the next step is to locate the switch under the clutch. There are two screws holding the safety switch to the floor board. They are usually Phillips screws, but bring both just in case.
If the mount screws are loose, tightened them.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
