How do I adjust the clutch in a 91 Honda Accord?

1 I hate when Valet guys touch my car, I have a stick shift too. Once they put a whole in the door, by not placing the seat belt properly. Many times even when there are free parking spaces you are forced to hand over the keys to Valet guys.

One Valet guy almost ram me over, he was a young kid driving backwards fast without looking. I don't know how many valet guys know how to shift gears properly, they can burn the clutch and do a lot of damage.

2 I have a 92 honda accord. I just replaced the clutch and at first every thing worked fine I pulled out of the shop I was using to work on the vechical. Well anyway I pulled forward backed up, pulled forward and went to back up again and and then the car quit moving.

Can anyone tell me what might have gpne wrong or what the problem is? You can e-mail me @ irish_man_82@yahoo. Com .

I don't have a shop manual for a 91 Accord in front of me, but I don't think you need an adjustment - I think you need a new clutch lining and/or pressure plate. The symptoms you describe are identical to the ones I encountered on an ex-girlfriend's 85 Accord and my own 94 Acura Integra. In both instances, the clutch was worn out and needed to be replaced.

Given the age of the vehicle, it's certainly due for this, unless you know the clutch has been replaced fairly recently. Honda clutches are hydraulic. When you have a problem with the clutch hydraulics, say, air in the line, the problem will go the other way, i.e.

, you won't be able to fully disengage the clutch, which results in hard shifting. Your problem is a slipping clutch when it's fully engaged, indicating a wear problem. It sounds like your valet's problem with the car on the hill was the last straw; he burned off the last bit of lining trying to get up the hill, and now you've probably got metal on metal.

The problem will get worse until you can't move at all.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
