Do your children take after you or their other parent?

After me! I have only one daughter, and I raised her entirely alone so her personality is very similar to mine. We are both very emotional, spirtual, and strong-willed.

We both have an off beat sense of humor. I'd like to say she has a worse temper than I do, but I'd probably be lying. We are also very similar in appearance, except she is shorter than myself by 3 inches. In that department I would say she takes after her father because he was shorter than I was too!

LOL! We have the same built, same color hair even the same shoe size. But she is one size smaller than I am in the clothing department.

Lucky! I am lucky and blessed because besides all of that, she is my best friend! Sources: my life, family .

Interesting question And here’s my eye-opening answer: Appearance: She and I are the same height, and she has my eye color, but she looks like her father’s side of the family Intelligence: Me, however she doesn’t use it Temper: Definitely her father! Attitude: Same as her father! Strength: or lack thereof...again...her father!

Abilities: Analytical like her father Demeanor: Her father I knew that she was a lot like him but I didn’t realize how much until I answered your question. Now I see that she’s definitely.... One day her father commented about her unacceptable behavior. I said, "she can’t help it...she takes after you".

He laughed and said, "no wonder you divorced me". Sometimes I wish I could divorce her too! Seasons's Recommendations Like Father, Like Daughter: How Father Shapes the Woman s Daughter Becomes Amazon List Price: $15.95 Used from: $0.01 Average Customer Rating: 5.0 out of 5 (based on 1 reviews) .

Mostly after my wife rather than me. In terms of personality, I could be accurately described as demonstrative, strong willed and nurturing. My wife is undemonstrative, relatively passive and not exactly warm and cuddly.

Our only child is undemonstrative, strong willed and not exactly warm and cuddly. I guess that my wife's genes win by a vote of two to one. Kids Well, I only have the one...when she was first born, everyone said she looked just like my husband, but more people think she looks like me know. I know we have the same voice, as people get us mixed up on the phone all the time. As far as personality, well, she is a blend of both of us, I think.

How can I say this without insulting my husband..hmmm...She gets her strength and determination and strong sense of right from wrong from him, and a bit of military bearing, too; and her common sense, creativity, composure and sense of independence from me! Her intelligence is probably from both of us! Her procrastination is all my fault, her math-challenged brain is both of us, her leadership ability from both of us, and her poor vision is from both of us!

So she is pretty well balanced between the two of us. I couldn't have asked for a better child! Poppet!'s Recommendations The Best Kid in the World: A SugarLoaf Book (Sugarloaf Books) Amazon List Price: $15.95 Used from: $2.45 .

We each have one clone. My daughter looks exactly like me with brown hair, and my son looks exactly like my husband only with my brown eyes instead of his blue. I can't believe I got a blond child with my naturally black hair, but I do, just like his dad.

We laugh all the time about how much they are exact copies of us. My daughter is outgoing, talks way too much, is goofy - all just like me. My son is quieter, more serious, has a dry sense of humor - just like my husband.

They both mirror us in sleep patterns, food preferences, mannerisms, so many things. Just last night, we saw a friend's mother for the first time since the kids were toddlers, and she couldn't get over how much they looked like us. She called them our mini-mes.
