The single most common side effect that persuades people to stop is the short term Memory Loss issues "You walk into a room to get something and by the time you are there you forget why". This can be really dangerous and people who are die hard addicts are usually shocked into quitting when the memory loss causes them to almost burn the house down by leaving the chip pan on etc..... Another issue is the realisation of the passing of time, some users perceive that they have unwittingly lost a whole decade of their lives to the Drug, sometimes even longer. Other long term side affects can vary from individual to individual and can range from paranoia to psychosis.
The debate is still a hot debate with opposite opinions from all sides on the risks of health concerns from long term abuse.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
