I was always told to eat my food as my parents lived in a time where they would be lucky to get one meal a day. They realised the true value of food but since they migrated to England and food is easy to come by I guess I don't realise what their struggle truly was. I stil eat whatever is put in front of me.
I guess that's where it comes from in my family but I'm sure there are other people who's families have come from a troubled background and so will have similar stories of hardship. Hope that helps :D.
For me, it was "children are starving in Korea." I'm with Pogue, I couldn't figure out the logic. I would think if they're starving, I should leave some for them.
What's My Lime? My mom told me about the starving kids in China. Being a smart@$$ even in elementary school, I asked her for names.
Only time I ever got a spanking that I thought I deserved. Quote:Originally posted by Dan Bradshaw:I know Jello Biafra never sold many albums, but starving? I kinda doubt that...he must have made enough to feed his family.
Okay, this made me YOMANK.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
