Find a book from vague description?

My mother talks about the first book she read in the 50s that got her excited about reading. She thinks it is called "First Love" and is about a female child left to die under a tree in India and her subsequent life. Some or all of this could be inacurate.

Pleased, Mrs. Seth agrees to sanction Twinky's wedding.

Rahul and Sue grow more intimate, later to share stories about their pasts. It is revealed here that Sue was once offered as a bride to the well-meaning but dim-witted prizefighter known as Killer Khalsa; offended that her parents would even consider such a match, she has been playing mischief in revenge. This mischief is not fully explained, but her liking for it is suggested by her audacity.

Sue is quite immune to social norms; she speaks bluntly to all, particularly to Rocky, Rahul's driver, who she knows as a famous cross-dresser. The blossoming romance is shaken, however, when Rahul is told that Sue was not only an escort, but a prostitute as well by a drunken friend at Bobby's bachelor party. Sue is so hurt that he would question her honesty and integrity that she leaves him.

Find a book using a vague description. Know this is a long shot but I am looking for a book I don't remember the name or the author but I do remember a lot of plot. In it everyone's status was based on how good they did in this Virtual Reality game.

There were about 5 kids as the main characters, in the book they fight off this giant dragon that hasn't been defeated in a very long time and they get rich. Im trying to find a book that I use to read when I was a young kid. But I don't remember the title. I think the cover was purple with a fox on the front of it and it might have been a book from a school but anyway I remember it was about a long of different things and in the back it had a story about a kid and it said things like "slow as a snail" and it would show him with a snail or "as strong as an ox" and it would show him pulling a carriage with an ox or "lazy as a lion" and once again him with that animal and it was of that extent.

I also remember that there was another story in the back past the one above and it was the same boy again but he was like collecting the animals. I also remember that there was a page that was splatter pained somewhere in the middle and it had that "one two buckle my shoe..." rhyeme in it. Please help me find it.

Find a book (or recipe) using a vague description I know it's probably a long shot, but I am looking for a book I had when I was a child. I don't remember a lot about it, but here is what I do remember. It was probably published in the 80's, and it's a children's cookbook.It was a golden yellow color, and it had a picture of a stuffed bear on the front.

It was probably called My First Cookbook or something similar. It was probably around 100 to 150 pages.It had a recipe in it, don't remember what the recipe was called, but it involved bread and strawberry cream cheese. It was something like melt butter, mix it with cinnamon and sugar, dip sliced bread in it, spread the cream cheese on it, roll it up, and bake it.

Beat together cream cheese, egg yolks and sugar until smooth. Flatten bread slices with a rolling pin.

Spread 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture on each bread slice. Roll slices up, jellyroll style. Dip each roll into melted butter, then into cinnamon sugar mixture.

Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. To freeze: follow recipe to baking point. Instead of baking, place rolls in a single layer on a cookie sheet and freeze.

Once frozen, put into a freezer bag. When ready to bake, return to cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees F for 10-15 minutes. Find a book by description I'm looking for a book I read a long time ago as a preteen. Its about a boy that is pursuaded to go to a place where its only kids I believe. They don't ever grow old and the days seem long.

I'm not sure what happens but the boy finally escapes and finds his parents realizing its been longer than he thought. The house gets destroyed and a girl he was friends wit from the house (I believe her name starred with an L) is now an old woman. He realized that she was stuck there for a very long time.

I'm trying to remeber the name of the book. I really enjoyed it and would like to read it again if I can remember the title. Hopefully you can help!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
