Looking for a young adult book based on a vague description I'm looking for a book about a 12-13 year old girl growing up in San Francisco, maybe during the time of the great earthquake/fire--the time period is a bit fuzzy in my mind. I remember she was visiting or traveling with her grandmother. The title of the book was the girl's name, and I think it was Anastasia--it began with an "A", but it was not part of the Anastasia Krupnik series by Lois Lowry.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
