Vague Fantasy book description?

Vague Fantasy book description hi! Well I remember this book from when I was about 9years old (i'm 17 now)! I can't remember the name or the author of the book I just remember the plot.

I think the cover had a girl with red hair on it. But it was basically about this girl who went to this mountain to find a magic pebble. She meets this giant and a witch who tries to trick her into giving her the pebble.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
