Forty percent of Americans are young earth Creationists. Fellow atheists, how does this make you feel?

You will experience an armed revolution whereas we take this country back by Brute Force, BUT We are not because what is happening today is prophesied and understood, we know that the evidences for Evolution is obtained through an / a philosophical & Ideological bias, One just has to see the answers posted here by Atheist to see that with their lying Evolution Web sites and pseudo-Science they employ. What is tragic is that many Christians (and I use that word Christian loosely) are succumbing to worldly pressure to adjust their theology to “Make it Fit For it is Written “ 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NKJV) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. These Christians do not know just HOW That effects Their theology How a Christian views Creation has a profound effect on that.

In the latest Gallup Poll on evolution V/ creationism (2012), 46% of ALL Americans responded that they believed that their deity made humans as we are now, no longer than 10,000 years ago.

How is 46% a majority? Easy. Wikipedia reports on another recent poll in the US where 15% of the population claimed no religious belief.

Thus, the highest figure for religious Americans is 85%. Well, 46% is MORE than half of 85%, and in that case, we'd have to assume that ALL religious Americans are Christians, which we also know isn't true. The actual Christian total for the US is 76%, so it's easy to see that 46% is closer to two thirds of of 76% than it is to half of 76%.

Most Christian Americans today ARE the equivalent of the Taliban in their religious extremism.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
