Freedom of religion or from religion?

It would help if you knew what you wanted to do, but you do have to attend to you studies. You can not just skip math and pray you must do it in your free time. You can kneel and pray anyplace people do not walk.

You can not read ANY book in a class in which it is not assigned. If English assigned you to read Huckleberry Fin you can not rad it in math class. You can read it at lunch or any free time.

Though I do not know about you school mine (Cy-Fair: Cypress TX) let you pray and read any book in your free time as long as you did not become a disturbance. No one ever told us to be atheistic we learn about the top 5 religions in world history.

It's government school, not public school. That's important, tuck that away in your head. The government school is NOT an atheist school system.

You are not forbidden from practicing your faith in school. However, if your practice is disrupting the class it is not permitted as any other interruption. You are free to read your bible in class, but only during free time.

If you're supposed to be reading science or working on math you are not participating in class appropriately. You may kneel and pray as you see fit, between classes, before and after school, or even during free time, silently. Government schools are forbidden from teaching religion (outside of a historical context), requiring or leading prayers, or sponsoring religious activity.

No, the absence of god is not taught. Not teaching about a god is not the same as teaching there is none. The Supreme Court did not declare atheism to be a religion.

It stated atheism is protected as religion, that atheism is equal to religion for 1st amendment purposes. A federal appeals court did declare atheism to be the religion of an individual and did so in using religion in a general sense. They did not through their decision define atheism as an officially recognized religion.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
