How do I tell my parents that I don't want to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses anymore?

They will shake you off like dust from their shoes. You will be shunned. A pariah.

Here's the best thing to do at the moment. Just love God, love your fellow humans; love your parents. However, if you don't believe in it, then you don't believe in it (JW's).

Its that simple. Staying in a faith to make others happy will only compromise your sense of self-worth and self-respect at a later age. When you're old enough, ease yourself away from the group, spread your wings, move along and find a comfortable place where you are at peace with yourself, God or whatever it is that will bring tranquility into your life.

If you leave the J. W's but you don't join any other religion. They can still talk to you.

But if you join another religion notice what the Bible says your parents should do. " Everyone that pushes ahead and does not remain in the teaching of the (true)Christ does not have God. He that does remain in his teaching has both the Father and the Son.

(Jehovah and Jesus). If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching,never receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him. For he that says a greeting to him is a sharer in his wicked works." 2 John 9-11.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
