How much should I be spending on an office chair for my home office?

I just recently spent $125 on an office chair in my home office. I do have a bit of advice. Sit on the chair if possible, prior to purchasing it.

I do believe you get what you pay for, and if you work full time from home, as I do, there is nothing worse than an uncomfortable chair. My neck had been hurting so bad from a cheap chair, this time we bought the best we found. If you spend alot of time working from home, do not let cost be an issue.

If you are comfortable and your neck and back are comfortable, the chair, in my opinion, is priceless. Just like a mattress for the bedroom. It is better to get the best from the start.

I personally suggest the La-Z-Boy Hyperion Chair. As I mentioned, go in to a retailer and actually sit on the chair, You will then find what feels the most comfortable to you. Good luck!

I agree with Ginamichelle, test drive your chair before you buy it. For me a lumbar support is a must and perhaps for you also. I am fairly short and I need chairs that will adjust for me to comfortably place my feet on the floor.

When I was working it was also recommended to me that if I would be doing a lot of typing I would want to invest in a chair without arms or a chair with arms that can be adjusted as sometimes the height of the chair arms in relation to your arms can cause muscle strain in the neck, back, shoulder, and arm region.

Try to garbage pick one. Seriously there are some great chairs in the trash. Spray it with Lysol and wash it with bleach water and you can invest your saved money in lunch for you and your clients.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
