It is a known shortcoming (by the community at least) and has been mentioned on other answers. I deal with it by adding a stipulation in the question what I will take for a Best Answer and if not received I have no problem choosing No Best Answer. For example I'll mention that I'm looking for an answer that addresses specific points, not just speculative discussion.
Providing links that further explore the question but don't offer the clarification I need I also deny the tip. I even asked a question that is reportedly unanswerable. It wasn't my intention but how can I choose a Best Answer when my question was very specific?
mahalo.com/answers/astronomy/who-invente... It has been mentioned more than once that users want the ability to leave questions open longer. It's up to Mahalo to capitulate or advise. Perhaps other users will have suggestions you can use too.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
