I am trying to find a picture book that I had as a kid. I can’t remember the title. Can anyone help?

A young boy receives gifts at his door step. He gets boots and mittens that are too big for him. I think he gets a coat, too.

He is puzzled by these gifts and doesn’t know what to do with them. He puts them in his closet. One day a large box appears.

The tag on the box says “Do Not Open Before Christmas,” but the word not is crossed out. The boy opens the box to find a lovable creature inside. All the gifts the boy got at his door fit the creature perfectly.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
