1 You ned to call the county surveyor on this one. There is no way we can tell you who's survey is right. Good luck!
2 As Turbo suggests, the county surveyor should be able to tell you which survey map is correct. Even then a surveyor may be needed to establish the property line. Try to be reasonable with your neighbor, he may be correct.
If your map is incorrect and you obtained it from your title company they they have to pay damages to you. That's why we have title insurance. I had an issue with my neighbor because their seller lied to them about the property line and the survey map looks confusing.
We finally resolved it without a fight and are now friendly. But a lot of ugly words could have been exchanged. The previous owner of my property has moved the survey pins but was suspected by my neighbor who had a survey done to correct the fraud.
Same kind of thing could have happened for your problem.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
