1 I have the EXACT same problem too, and I traced the problem to the DHCP lease which expires and doesn't automatically renew. My router obtains a DHCP lease for 3 days and 12 hours and after that time runs out, my computer cannot connect to the internet. I woulld unplug the router and plug it back in to force the lease to renew.
I posted a question here to try and solve the problem, but I didn't get any concrete answers. I have a Netgear wireless router.
2 Well, I think I'm going to have to call Time Warner. Really, we didn't have this problem when we had a Motorola modem. But we added on digital phone so they had to switch our modem and that's when the problems started.
I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and call. I woke up this morning and had to unplug everything and reset first thing in the morning. Does not bode well for the day...
3 Try just unplugging the router only and not the modem, that way you can narrow down to where the problem is.
1 - disconned your cable modem and router. Straighten their cords and dust them off, assuring all vents are clear of dust and dirt. Assure the socket your plugging them into, doesn't have anything else in plugged into it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
