I like listening to an 80's radio station while working on my computer, but the sound skips (see details)... when I do certain functions. I have a new laptop and the fastest internet Qwest has to offer. Is there a way to make it stop doing that?
Also, does this mean I am bogging down my computer and I shouldn't multitask with a radio station? I don't want to chance a computer crash. The task I am doing, in case it makes a difference, is posting my art on my website, but I notice it is skipping as I write this also.

It sounds like you are overloading your internet connection. When your applications start sharing your connection, it sometimes starts piling data on faster than it can transmit and recieve - hence dropouts in the radio signal.
Hm. Didn't think of that. Thanks.
Guess I'm out of luck. I don't like modern music stations. Thanks for the input!

You might check to se if there is a decent on-air station, or a decent cable station...
Hm. I'll check that out. I was listening to Live365.

With Pandora you can pic an artist or song and it'll will pull in similar songs/ music. It's free.

AM radio reception questions, see details please...
I was listening to the radio yesterday and heard the funniest thing.....................
Can someone tell me how to unblock a "pop up" on my computer. I want to listen to launch.com radio station...
What radio station will carry phillies playoffs.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
