If you listed your item and said no refunds in the listing then he cannot return the item. You have to specifically say what you want to do about returns. Tell him the item was in perfect "listed condition" and there were no scratches on the item as you inspected it yourself.
Then just say if it's buyer's remorse you will not return on THAT condition. He is stuck with it. If you have a good rating one will not hurt you.
Just put in the response to his rating what transpired. If, however you will be worried about your rating then have the item returned (he pays for the shipping) and block that person from buying from you in the future.
You might also try to work a deal with them, see if they will accept a partial refund. Ask them how much they think the 'damage' detracts from what they bought and how much of a refund they think is fair. Sometimes, if you put it to them like that, they will back off.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
