I have proof of postage receipt (nor recorded so there isn't a tracking number)" So therefore you will lose every dispute case. Proof of posting is NOT proof of receiving. It's the oldest trick in the world.
He gets the goods then says he didn't receive them because he didn't have to sign for them and then demands his money back. You are then up the proverbial gumtree! He gets his goods and his money back.
A freebie in other words! EBay are quite specific on their advice by sending any item where it can be tracked through the system. Also any item sent by that method HAS to be signed for at the other end.
It's the same as to what the old Registered Post was! http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/pay/upload-...
Don`t do anything drastic. Send copy of receipt to buyer, ignore his bad attitude, best to keep it cordial. Ask the buyer to contact Royal Mail, it could be lying in their distribution centre, they don`t always leave a card.
Look into e-bay for Customer Service, send them an e-mail with regards to the mislaid item, let them know you have been in communication with the rude buyer. Wait for answer, it could take a couple of days. The buyer could wait a little longer too.
The Royal Mail have been known to nod off now and again. Worst case scenario would be a refund. Why not have a word with the Post Office you posted item from, take the receipt.
They might offer some advice.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
