When Prince Charles becomes King, Camilla will not become Princess Consort.....what Camilla will become is QUEEN Consort.....though she may choose not to use the title. She is now entitled to use her title of The Princess of Wales, but does not do so out of affection and respect for Prince Charles' two sons....but she is ENTITLED to use the title. In the same way, she will be entitled to use her title of QUEEN Consort....but may choose not to use it and call herself Princess Consort instead.
No, in the UK, the consort of the monarch does not become the new monarch when their spouse dies. What MAY happen is that the next in line to the throne may be a minor child, and the consort MAY be appointed regent for that child...but under normal circumstances, the consort is not the one who becomes the monarch if their spouse dies.
No - the Consort is just that -- the wife or husband of the ruling monarch. They are not in line for the throne. The only way they might "rule" is as regent for an underage heir.
So -- for example -- if Queen Elizabeth II died and Charles had been less than legal age (18) - then perhaps, Prince Phillip would have "ruled" as Prince Regent for his son's minority . But even the infant Heir would still have the title of King or Queen right away at their parent's death.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
