If given a chance to cure a certain disease, I would cure the big "C" which is cancer. Although there are cancers that are curable especially if it is diagnosed earlier there are still some types that are quite fatal especially if attack children like polycystic leukemia which is a rare and acute form of cancer.
It's a toss-up between arthritis and multiple sclerosis. Anything auto-immune based, I guess.
I have to agree with the poster who said they would use their superpower to cure cancer. It is such a devastating and creepy disease, especially when little kids get it. The very idea that some alien DNA has taken over one's own cells and caused them to mutiny is... just creepy, as I already said.My mom had some friends who worked at a cancer center, in the 1970s.
They were such nice people. Both of them eventually got cancer and died of it, though. My mom doesn't think cancer is contagious. You know the radiation used to kill cancer in patients who already have cancer?
She thinks that it causes cancer in the people who are treating the patients. Cancer is so insidious!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
