I would want to be the CEO of the Power company in Phoenix Arizona and I would make sure that we had full solar capabilities so that the people in the valley of the sun were not paying such high electricity bills . I would enact a program that would place solar panels in all the different areas of the city so that we were capturing all this sunshine that is available and free.
Berkshire-Hathaway and I would follow in it's path as it is doing pretty well.
I ultimately am not sure if I'd want to be the CEO of a publicly traded company. However, I read a book by Jack Welch a few years ago and learned quite a bit about how he ran GE when he was the CEO. If I had to pick a company right now, I'd probably go with GE.
They're extremely large and they participate in a variety of diverse and exciting markets. I'm not sure if I'd do one specific thing to improve the company. Rather, I'd probably just work as hard as I could to improve efficiency overall.
Like I said earlier though, I'd probably prefer to work in a company that didn't have public shareholders.
It is only one department of your whole company. As the CEO of your company, you need to ensure everything is in place to ensure the peak performance and success, instead of just focusing on a small aspect. Many people fail to see that.
They devote their whole lives to their work and turn into workaholics, neglecting the other parts of their life in the process.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
