Would you put a scientist type as CEO of a company? Would a technical type person be helpful or hindering type of leader?

Steve Jobs was making computers and started Apple. But the board wanted a "real businessman."Wiki says: "John Sculley (born April 6, 1939) is an American businessman. Sculley was vice-president (1970–1977) and president of PepsiCo (1977–1983), until he became CEO of Apple on April 8, 1983,"They had to bring Jobs back to save Apple.

Which do you want. A science type. Who knows what the technology should do.

Or a "real businessperson?"Your choice.

My choice is Bill Gates. GoldenLion 13 months ago .

In their negotiations the Microsoft people would get close to a deal and say "We can have one more meeting with Bill Gates, or we can settle with this deal. " Most of the time the other side would say "Let us settle now. We do not HAVE to see Mr. Gates."

Nobody wanted to meet with him. He got rich that way.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
