If you tip someone for their answer, would you like there to be a footnote to recognize this act of generosity?
That's a neat idea. Sometimes there is really a tie for best answer, or there are two or more fantastic answers. It would be great to have a way for the asker to flag that for anyone that comes to look at the question.In a way it'd be nice if I could mark not just Best Answer, but also flag other answers as Excellent Answer.
Ideally they'd be highlighted somehow as well, just like the Best Answer is. PS ... In the question you say something about recognising the generosity of the tipper. I guess I want to recognise something a bit different, namely the excellence of answers that may not have gotten Best Answer.

I think perhaps when submitting the tip there could be a radio button, "Show tip. " I don't always want my tipping to be shown. For instance, if I am trolling and there is a controversial theory being discussed, I may not want want my name plastered everywhere; or say there is NSFW, is someone wanted to tip someone there but doesn't want their name attached to NSFW, they would be inclined to not tip for that answer.
Perhaps I am alone on this one, but I don't think it should be shown in a mandatory fashion. We already have "helpful" and "unhelpful" to recognize questions. Why add clutter?
I recently picked a best answer for a question I gave a $3 for. Out of over the 10 other helpful answers, one really stood out to me and helped me a lot. I use the excellent Mahalo feature to "tip for answer."
I tipped him $1. Would you like their to be an option to make this tip public? Meaning, underneath the answer, a small footnote stating "Eatthatpopcorn tipped ____ $1M for their answer" (or something like that).
Although I tip to thank the person, I think it would be a cool feature to show other Mahalo members your appreciate for an answer, as well as encourage people to leave quality answers even when there's already one that has gone above and beyond. This feature would perhaps encourage askers to tip several answers as well. Just my thoughts, what are yours?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
