I'm looking for a book I read when I was a kid. I can't remember the title or the author. Help!

It was about a kid who is involved in a gameshow with people across the sound barrier. I can't remember much more. I know that he really wants a computer, and he eventually wins it.In the story things get unwittingly sucked through the sound barrier.

The people on the other side try to send it back but they aren't always accurate. It is a clever explanation for why you sometimes lose things, then find them where you thought you already looked. Any ideas?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
