Try the LED lights. Everyone is switching to them. They save you a great deal of money and last longer than regular lights.

A good one that pays itself off in 1 - 2 years is a programmable thermostat. Have the temperature turned down while you sleep and back up just before you wake up is great, plus you save money heating the house. Unplug your tree after 9.30, no one outside cares if it's on or not.

Get yourself a remote for the outside lights. I can switch the lights on or off from anywhere on my property, saves me a lot of headaches going outside just to unplug the lights for the night. And finally, consider using a flood light or 2 for your property instead of individual little lights for each decoration.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
