In need of clever wording?

In need of clever wording. I need some fresh, fun, or just plain good examples of things that are obviously very heavy. I'm trying to make an exaggerated point about someone's strength, and I'd like anyone's ideas.

Feel free to use the discussion area, too. Thanks much. Asked by apricot_knot 52 months ago Similar questions: clever wording Arts > Writing.

There are a few different ways Exaggeration...... a fun topic. I could use something that is obviously very very heavy but people don’t have physical experience with. People can only imagine its heaviness.

For example, damn! That is as heavy as the earth itself! Or, what do you have there?

A B-52? Or, I am sure you can lift Mt. Fuji out of its base too!

I can also use something everyone has feeling with, and it is really heavy. For example, get a fork truck - this is practically a coil of steel! Or, Geez, where were you when I needed to move that refrigerator!

Or, that thing is as heavy as an anvil, for god’s sake! Or, as people of the south would say, that must be heavier than my rig! Occasionally it is fun to exaggerate with exaggeration.

For example, that weighs more than my toddler girl’s diaper! Or, okay macho man, now try to move that CRT monitor on the table! Or, that thing might be heavier than a volume of Encyclopædia Britannica! Sometimes the effect of heaviness is used.

For example, if this dropped the earth would have stopped revolving! Well, can’t think of anything that is really funny. Lately I have really hit a askviller’s (I am not much a writer) block.

Damn, my head is as heavy as the Jaivana cannon! Oh, just remember this sticker... Anything that is heavy should have a sticker! Sources: some thoughts boxing's Recommendations Be aware!

Okay, I'll try For the best effect you'll probably need something a little unusual that is still obviously very heavy. So nothing like house or elephant or anvil - those would be the obvious choices. Maybe:- "the sun" -> I think it's funny cause it's a little off- "Kirstie Alley after the holidays" -> she's just known to be fat and nothing else anymore- Mariah Carey's ego -> what could be heavier?
