Cock fighting is a blood sport like dogfighting and hunting Cruelty may be defined as that which causes unnecessary pain and torture to an animal (or person). Therefore, cockfighting is a very cruel sport which certainly inflicts unnecessary pain on animals. It is actually considered to be "violent animal abuse.
