What are ways you can prevent animal cruelty?

Volunteer Be a volunteer for the ASPCA (US) or SPCA (Canada), or any other shelters. If you see animal cruelty report it! You name is not given in the grievance against the owner.

Canada is trying to get in stricter laws for people that don't look after any animals be it cows, horses, pigs, dogs, cats, etc. We want a no tolerance level and just not fines, but prison terms if the cruelty is on-going and intolerable. I am a volunteer at Pet Network, and fight with the SPCA to get better rules and regulations in. I enjoy Pet Network (many other outlets such as this are going on as well) because 100% of the profits go to the animals and it's all volunteers.

With the SPCA they are a Union here and the Administration Fees are high. One person that was head of Administration had some high costs to explain that didn't go towards the animals. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
