Yes, you will still be able to go to a good college. It depends on how hard you are able to wok now. What grade are you in now and whats your GPA now.
Also you might want to get into extra curricular activities, drama club, sports or community services. Schools love students who do a lot of community service. Keep your head up and do your best.
And when you apply to college makes sure you have something to say in your essay. Something that says "you want me to be a student at your college".
Exact thing happened to me, only I slacked off both freshman AND sophomore year. I sunk when my GPA report came in and I saw I had a 2.4 GPA. Junior & Senior year I went crazy making straight As and then took some honor classes (which give more weight if you do well in them).
I got up to a 3.1 GPA my Senior year and went to the best nursing college in state. Also, remind you, that college exams (SAT, ACT) will count getting into a college too. It really does depend what school you want to go to, some don't even look at GPA!
Don't give up! (.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
