I am a PA. Lactose intolerance is from a deficiency in the enzyme lactase that fails to break down or digest lactose. There are many nonspecific symptoms of lactose intolerance such as vague abdominal discomfort, bloating, diarrhea, nausea and dyspepsia (heartburn).
Thus, yes, heartburn can be a symptom of lactose intolerance. However, it is important to explore other causes of heartburn. Heartburn can be cause by gastroesophageal reflux disease, a peptic ulcer, a stricture or narrowing of the esophagus, gastritis or even a heart attack.
A health care professional should be consulted to exlude other causes of heartburn. Hope this helps:).
I am a long-time sufferer of Lactose Intolerance. Thankfully, heartburn was never one of the symptoms I suffered. While the other symptoms from LI could contribute to conditions that would result in acid-reflux, I doubt it's a primary symptom.
I have lactose intolerance, and heartburn, altho felt occassionally, doesn't seem to be a symptom in my case. It could vary from person to person though, but I do know from experience that a severe case of lactose intolerance will cause a lot of acid reflux, which in turn would surely lead to heartburn. Do consult your doctor to be sure!
I'm not a doctor! I've never heard of this. Lactose intolerance usually happens lower in the GI tract. So it usually involves gas and that end of the body.
Hope that helps! Good Luck!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
