Is Islam considered a violent religion?

Islam is not generally considered to be a violent religion. Muslims are taught from the Koran to be charitable to others, to surrender themselves to God (Allah), to pray five times a day and to give up earthly pleasures during the month of Ramadhan. As a result of the acts of Islamic extremists, many people in western society have come to associate the term Jihad with a violent offensive act.

Jihad is not considered to be a Pillar of Islam by the vast majority of Muslims. Most of them see a Jihad as a defensive act. One belief of this cult is that the United States threatens Muslims and must be stopped. It is also important to note that Islamic extremists make up a very tiny (but well publicized) group of Muslims.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
