Is there a middle ground in private healthcare and public healthcare?

There is certainly a middle ground, but there's no real way right now to effectively handle all this without huge overheads on labor, costs etc. A similar question was posted before, and here are my general two cents on the topic: mahalo.com/answers/public-healthcare-vs-... There can be free reliable treatment for all, by taxing us like crazy, and that's what we're technically doing here in Canada. After all, nothing is really free. Someone's gotta do the legwork for a price, even if it's a to see the smiles of a billion people.

Appointment scheduling for everyone would be a complete headache. Not only are many people indecisive but who wants to go through "I only have this slot available" after checking for 30 minutes on the next available slot, it'd be like booking with a travel agent times 300 times quicker to get filled up. This can still be possible though with computers, you don't need several phone lines open or flooded emails to make an appointment.

It can all be done online, quicker than the average human can place their appointment and it could dynamically add or remove availability when it loads the page as they're viewing it, this could be an option. I think the prioritization is good, but bad at the same time, what if you're going to die in 30 minutes and you're not the richest person ever but you were important to the community or perhaps you have 6 kids who depend on you for their own survival? But wait.. there's about 10 other people also close to their death, doing it based on money would be a little cold, first come first serve for that is probably the best you can do or who can actually be saved and who has no chance of survival would be an ok way to prioritize it too.

The rest would be doable just with some reorganization. -- shyam.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
