When hell freezes over, which isn't going to be anytime soon. Oh, but I forgot - they don't believe in hell. Interestingly, on 9 February 1950, the New World Translation Committee confessed that "Whilst inclining to view the pronunciation "Yah.
Weh" as the more correct way, we have retained the form "Jehovah" because of people's familiarity with it since the 14th century" (page 23 of the Forward). This appears in the 1969 edition of the Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures - the one with the purple cover. They fail to mention that the name "Jehovah" was unknown to all the prophets and saints and it first appeared from the pen of a Dominican Monk, Raymundus Martini.
It's kind of ridiculous to say: Jehovah's Witnesses make this false claim about using Jehovah as God's name. All over the world, before the formation of the true Christian Congregation-in the last days-Jehvoah has been used as the name of the God of the Bible. Now that God's true worshipers use His Divine name, we are false all day long; not really a valid argument.
