Greetings The term “Jehovah’s Witness” is a Scriptural description for True Christians (Isa.43:10-12). In fact, ONLY Jehovah's Witnesses can provide you with sound evidence that they are True Christians and believe only what the Bible teaches. The Bible gives us several objective ways to identify true Christians.
The basic way is to "follow closely in Christ's footsteps" (1Pt.2:21). This is the Bible's definition of a True Christian–WWJD. Sometimes examining doctrines can be confusing even though it is very important to do so.
However, Jesus gave us an easier way to tell who are teaching the truth, a way that we can use our heart as well as our mind to determine Truth. He stated that a primary way you would identify true Christians would be by "their fruits" or the result of their teachings, and by the "love they show" even for their enemies (Mt.7:15-20; Jn.13:34,35; Lk.6:27,28). Now, when you examine most religions you find that they cannot meet the requirements of being true Christians.
Their historical record is of bloodthirsty wars, immorality, sectarian violence and factional splits (Mt.7:21-23; 2Tim3:5; Gal.5:19-23). Today Catholics continue to kill Catholics and Protestants kill Protestants, something true Christians would not do (1Jn.3:10,15; 4:8). I have found only one group which can help you meet this requirement of truly being Christian: Jehovah's Witnesses.
This is the testimony of the Holy Spirit (1Cor.6:9-11; Gal.5:19-22). Our hearts tell us that any religion who is willing to shoot their own members in warfare cannot possibly be trusted to teach Biblical truth (2Cor.10:3-5; 1Jn.3:10,15; 4:8). A second easy way to tell who are truly God's people is in the use of the Divine Name for God.
The English form of is Jehovah or Yahweh, and is found in the original Bible over 7,000 times. Yet, the primary Bible versions used by most religions remove this name and replace it with the common, ordinary title "LORD." Since God placed this Name almost 7,000 times in his Word and said it would be his Eternal Name (Ex.3:15; Mic.4:5) and he condemned those who would "try to make my people forget my name..." (Jer.23:27).
Jesus "made that name known" to all his followers and placed it first, of primary importance, in his model prayer (Jn.17:6,26; Mt.6:9). The Bible says that in the end times True Christians would be associated with that Name (Ac 15:14; Amos 9:11,12). Refusal to use some proper form of that Name would therefore be a denial of being truly Christian.
Changing the inspired Word of God by removing that Divine Name elicits the strongest of condemnation (Rev.22:18,19). How can someone who is under this curse be trusted to teach the truth about anything? Only Jehovah's Witnesses are completely free from this curse and so can properly help others receive the blessings from God of Truth and Faith.
Another requirement which identifies True Christians is that they would be united in their beliefs:"I urge you, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, not to have factions among yourselves but all to be in agreement in what you profess; so that you are perfectly united in your beliefs and judgements" (1Cor.1:10; 2Cor.13:11; Eph 4:4-6; Phil.1:27). Other religions can only "agree to disagree" since they can not even agree on such things as war, abortion, homosexuality, special gifts, or baptism & etc..
Most of the answers you will probably get will be negative and you will undoubtedly hear a lot of lies and rumors about Jehovah's Witnesses. My advice is to ask them questions the next time they come around. Everything we teach is taught in the Bible, not from our own opinions, despite what you may hear.
You'll also hear that we're not true Christians and that we worship the Watchtower. That is also false. Again, just talk to them the next time they come around and you'll learn ACCURATE knowledge about us and what the Bible teaches.
In regards to God's personal name, consider this: Many reference works have suggested that the name ceased to be used by about 300 B.C.E. Evidence for this date supposedly was found in the absence of the Tetragrammaton (or a transliteration of it) in the Greek Septuagint translation of the Hebrew Scriptures, begun about 280 B.C.E. It is true that the most complete manuscript copies of the Septuagint now known do consistently follow the practice of substituting the Greek words Ky? Ri? Os (Lord) or The?
Os? (God) for the Tetragrammaton. But these major manuscripts date back only as far as the fourth and fifth centuries C.E. More ancient copies, though in fragmentary form, have been discovered that prove that the earliest copies of the Septuagint did contain the divine name YHWH.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
