Knitters: What's your favorite source of lacy patterns?

Usually I crochet small lacy things and knit cables or socks or larger projects. I am an experienced knitter, but I haven't done a lot of knitted lacy work and I'd like to give it go. Where would you send me for pretty lacy-looking knitting patterns?

Books and websites are good sources for me. Thanks. Asked by cyndyh 40 months ago Similar questions: Knitters favorite source lacy patterns Arts > Sewing, Craft & Hobby.

Some books and a great website Great website for ANY kind of free patterns, including some very pretty lace: knittingpatterncentral.com/directory.php Don’t just look under "lacy items", but also under the individual things you’d like to do. Say you’d like to try a shawl, there are some very fancy lace shawls under that category. It takes a while to get through it sometimes, but I always find something new.

Also, some of the links bring you to other web sites where you can get more patterns, like Lion Brands or Berroco. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
