For sure you have to have both. It's great to have the options and variety. Sometimes it's a mood thing.
;).
Both, especially for a trip of over 1,000 miles. I took a 2,000 mile solo trip and having a variety of entertainment sources helps from getting bored.
I prefer audiobooks - but I make sure the person's voice is tolerable for hours at a time and the book is something that would retain my attention. I'll switch it up every now and then with music, but I like a bunch of random music so I don't get stuck with the same sound/album on repeat.
It's music. Try classical ones like those of carpenters.
I was recently on a long road trip and the driver insisted on listening to an audio book of very little interest the entire time on 3/4 volume... I almost died. I need music.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
