Looking for a recipe for a thin crepe like Moroccan flat bread (see details). Awhile back I saw an Anthony Bourdain show. I believe he was in Morocco.
Almost everywhere he went the street food was served wrapped in a crepe like bread. You could see the vendors making this bread by holding a soft dough ball in one hand and dabbing it directly on the cooking surface (typically an inverted pot). The dough would stick where dabbed onto the surface leaving only a very thin layer.
The bread was then peeled off resulting in a very thin sheet that looked almost like a cross between a large spring roll wrapper and a crepe. Does anyone know what this particular type of bread is called? Better yet, where can I find a recipe?

2 I've tried those sites searching for Moroccan flat bread. However, they always come back with something akin to a pita. What I am looking for is more kin to a crepe.
I am wondering if I might get closer to finding what I am looking for if I knew the proper name for this particular type of bread.

YoBob replied to post #3: 5 Perhaps, but it looks a bit thicker than I remember. What I remember came off in a sheet that you could darned near read a newspaper through. Think Spring Roll.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
