My computer (Windows XP) freezes whenever I try to access the properties of my local area connection. How do I fix it? I'm trying to make my computer a gateway computer for the internet, so I need to set it to a specific IP address right?

But everytime I right-click on Local Area Connection and go to Properties, it just sits there thinking (the hour glass). What should I do? Asked by Sgt.

I am not savvy at computers but is your computer too old or too slow. What I know of computers with slow processors are they often freeze when you try to open even small files. Just like my notebook which is only 256MB RAM and 1.46GHz processor. It's really too slow unlike my new PC.

You won't notice a document opening because it flips in less than a second, I think, promise. So, try to upgrade your PC so that it will become faster. What do you think?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
