My parents want to adopt 14-year-old relative; Good idea?

It should not be about what your parents "want to do for him". It should be about what he needs and wants. Did your cousin or his parents ask for this?

Did your cousin or his parents indicate a desire or interest of any kind in his improving his life? Why do your parents think they can do a better job of raising him? A better education and better economic opportunities are nice, but they are only THINGS.

What kind of better emotional atmosphere do your parents think they can give the boy? If he didn't ask or express an interest in being adopted, they should not try to adopt the boy. If his parents didn't express an interest in having him adopted to give him a better life, then your parents should not try to adopt the boy.

They can always allow him to come over like exchange students do, as a visitor who is also a relative. They can allow him to live in your family and have the better educational and economic opportunities without going through the adoption process. So, I ask again, ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
