My pay as you go cell phone doesn't get service but other AT&T users do. What do I do? I don't want to buy a new phone.

I bought an AT&T phone with pay as you go. The area I live in doesn't have service for my phone but it does for other AT&T contract users. I am only here for 4months but desperately need a phone.

What is the cheapest way to solve this problem? I don't want to be bound by a contract and really don't want to buy a new phone again. This is the second time the salesman told me it would work and it hasn't.

You buy a prepaid sim that will work in your present location. Prepaid sims are so easy to use and are inexpensive so you can buy one to insert on your phone so you can use it. Just make it sure that your phone is unlocked to accept the new sim.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
