Need help with the name of an old kids book: an old car in a garage is hated by new cars until he gets a wash and tires. The little old car is a clunker (may have been blue or red). It is put in a garage with big, new cars who tease it.

But one day, the mechanic gives the old car a wash and wax and brand new tires and then it looks great. The other cars are jealous. I think it ends with the old car being bought by a nice owner.
