Nice ring, looks like white gold, the only stamp in the shank is: a "c" inside a circle followed by A/C. Is it gold?

Nice ring, looks like white gold, the only stamp in the shank is: a "c" inside a circle followed by A/C. Is it gold? It's new, contains a 7x5 semi-precious stone (tourmaline) with two side diamonds.

Feels too heavy to be silver. Is there an easy test to determine silver or gold? Thank you!

Well, a c inside a circle is a copyright symbol. A/C could be the company. If it was gold, even white gold, it would be stamped 14k or some similar designation.

If it was sterling silver, it would say sterling. It could be any kind of silvery metal. You can take it to any jeweler to test.

They will put a drop of chemical on it and by changing color, it will tell you and them what it is.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
