I think it would not only be nice but it would also be fair to those seniors that have done their best to raise their teenagers to be respectful towards elderly people. I think the most incredibly unrealistic question I've ever seen posted on Senior Citizens by an uneducated, inane teenager was posted just a few weeks ago when a high school senior asked why so many elderly people were asking questions in the Senior Citizen category. He/she actually believed school seniors were the only type of senior that existed or for that matter deserved to be here.
He/she was too dumb to even withdraw the question after a dozen or more people pointed out the error of his ways. As to those supposedly grown up people that like to answer juvinile questions or offer their dubious opinions, they can go to the Family category and have themselves a grand time without bothering those of us that would like our discussions a tad more adult. Of course it is easier and a cheap way for the point monkeys to entertain the younger set here while putting on the airs of their wisdom.
Don't even get me started on the trolls, especially the ones that should be posting in the R&S category. Yes, yes, yes, I would like to see our teens use a category clearly labeled for them. Put it at the head of all categories so they won't miss it.
(Forgive me for my rant, I'm old enought to know better than to believe in a perfect world, especially here. I'll take it as it is.) Jeez, now I have to coorrect 269 misspellings!
Teens aren't going to do anything that they are "supposed to do." There are a few Senior Citizens on here who only answer or ask political questions. Why don't they just stick with the "Politics and Government" category?
Because they get the best Q's and A's right here. We are "game" for just about anything that comes our way.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
